@ksu1971 @UScellular Is there an outage occurring? I can make calls but when someone tries to call it fails. @BeauBecraft @UScellular after that and the cellphone could be unlocked. Since forty eight hours has handed, it’s still locked.

It appears to have begun around 3 p.m., and Verizon reported on Twitter that the problem was fixed as of 8 p.m. What’s unusual about this occasion is that fiber cuts sometimes do not lead to massive outage. A single hoodlum shouldn’t be able to disrupt service to a complete region with a single, nicely placed cut.
